The Power of Diffusing Techniques 😱
Is extra effort worth it?! Not needing to refresh is pretty nice. Full video is in my channel! I did a quick & easy routine to compare to my usual routine and this was what I found: 🌀 QUICK ROUTINE 🌀 No sections Raked gel in, tried to apply a thoroughly as I could without sectioning Styled a few problem areas quickly with brush styling, finger coling, and praying hands Microplopped + extra glaze of gel Diffused & scrunched out the crunch → Results from Quick Routine: More frizz within and on top More elongated or wonky pieces Required more refreshing 🌀 FULL/THOROUGH ROUTINE 🌀 Sectioned Raked gel in sections from root to tip Styled each section briefly with either brush styling, finger coling, or praying hands Microplopped + extra glaze of gel Diffused & scrunched out the crunch → Results from Full/Thorough Routine: Not much frizz More definition More curl retention Did not require refreshing Only you can decide if putting in more time and effort on wash day is truly worth it.
