This “Look for Less” video compares different eye primers that I know and love. The ELF Mineral Eye Primer being the cheapest at only $3 on eyeslipsface.com, and is ideal if you are just starting out with makeup, or just don’t want to spend a lot on a primer. It does a decent job at keeps your shadows from creasing and smudging, but does not make them look any more vibrant.
The next is the Sedona Lace Stick It To ‘Em Eye Primer. It’s the next best thing to a high end primer, and gets the job done. It has excellent coverage to cover any eyelid discoloration, and makes the shadows appear more vivid. The only shadow that I had creasing with the Sedona Lace primer was the Too Faced Silk Teddy shadow, which is from theNatural Eye Kit and is a very shimmery creamy-textured eyeshadow. The Sedona Lace primer is one sale for only $6.97 and if you use the code GLAMMEUP8 you can get $4 off your order!
Then there is the Urban Decay Primer Potion. This retails for about $20 and can be found at Sephora and Ulta. It keeps everything from creasing, lasts forever, and makes shadows go on evenly. And it has no downsides to it other than the price.
What is your favorite eye primer? Have you tried any of these before?
