VIDEO: Long Lasting Soft Curls Hair Tutorial & GlamPalm Flat Iron Review

With having naturally curly hair, straightening it can be such a pain! It takes forever and can be damaging. Therefore, I prefer to straighten it once and then leave it for a several days. Plus, it’s much healthier for your hair to not use heat on it every day and to not wash it daily. This hair tutorial will give you long lasting soft curls, without all the damage. Curling your hair with a flat iron makes them last much longer than using a curling iron, and gets the hair much smoother if its curly. I show two methods of curling your hair with a flat iron, whether if you want waves/loose curls, or tight ringlets.

To achieve this look, I used the GlamPalm 1.5″ Classic Flat Iron. This is a wider iron than I typically use, however the wide plates make the curls and waves larger instead of tighter ringlets. I actually was still able to get close to my curly roots with it. The plates are designed to tilt, and the edges are beveled with allows for smooth curling and straightening. The cord also swivels at the base, so that you can easily turn your wrist. The plates are made out of ceramic, and are designed for an even flow of heat and less damage to your hair.
