Chipped nail polish is one of the biggest beauty struggles. It can be so frustrating when you spend the time to paint your nails only for them to chip the next day. I try to do my nails once a week, which is hard to find the time to just do that. I’ve discovered several tricks and hacks to make your nail polish last at least a week, with minimal chipping. I do still get some with this method, and it depends on the nail polish color I use. For the most part though, my manicure will last 5-7 days.
Essie is always my go-to nail polish brand because I have found they last the longest and I love their base and top coats. However, with any nail polish brand, you’ll find that some colors tend to last longer than others.
Watch the simple manicure tutorial above that you can do at home, and will last up to a week with minimal chipping.
Pictured above is Essie Go with the Flowy, which I was wearing prior to the tutorial that lasted 7 days with very minimal chipping.
