VIDEO: Curl Mix Wash & Go Routine & Review

I’m so excited to share with you a new wash & go routine using the CurlMix Vanilla Berry Wash + Go System with Organic Castor Oil for Strengthening Hair. I heard sooo many great things about CurlMix I knew I needed to test it out for y’all. I was most excited for the flaxseed gel because I love strong hold and definition. They are also fully sulfate, silicone, and paraben free. The ingredients are also natural and organic.

In the video, I take you through the full wash day routine, starting in the shower with the clarfying shampoo to remove build-up. I loved how much lather this shampoo produce and got my hair really clean. I even did an oil treatment on my scalp before this, and it removed it well!

Next up is the conditioner, which is super hydrating and has great slip. My hair was detangled like a breeze and felt moisturized and ready for styling products.

It’s important to use the styling products on soaking wet hair, so I applied them in the shower when it was still dripping. I also flipped my head over to get more volume.

I first used the moisturizer, which is essentially a curl cream. I focused this on the lower half of my hair to hydrate my ends. Then I followed up with the pure flaxseed gel, and coated my hair in this. I finished off with scrunching, and then used the Denman brush around the top layer just to smooth frizz and create ringlets on top.

After plopping for a bit with my Hair RePear towel, I diffused on low heat and low airflow. After diffusing my curls had so much body and definition, but they didn’t feel dry or too stiff. I was impressed.
