How to choose?

Examine your natural curl pattern and clump size without any enhancing. If your curl clumps are naturally more narrow, go with the Bounce Curl Volume EdgeLift Brush. If your curl clumps are naturally thick and you want to have more separation for more volume, also go with the Bounce Curl Volume EdgeLift Brush.

If your natural curl clump width is wide and you want to maintain that look, go with the Bounce Curl Define EdgeLift Brush. If you have narrow curl clumps naturally and want to create thick clumps and are not concerned about reducing your volume, go with the Bounce Curl Define EdgeLift Brush. Keep in mind when you try and force naturally narrow curl clumps into larger curl clumps, they may not curl up. If you have curls that go in all different directions, this may also happen. If you watch the video, you will see where this happened to me when brush styling and I had to fix it with finger coiling.

Avoid counterfeit brushes

Bounce Curl’s brushes have went viral, which unfortunately means there are a lot of shady companies trying to replicate their design. Bounce Curl has patented the design now and they are only sold on the Bounce Curl website or authorized wholesalers. The brushes are not sold on Amazon or Walmart, so do not order from there. They are on TikTok shop though. My affiliate links will direct you to the legitimate Bounce Curl website. You can also use code GENAMARIE for 10% off orders.
