Examine your natural curl pattern and clump size without any enhancing. If your curl clumps are naturally more narrow, go with the Bounce Curl Volume EdgeLift Brush. If your curl clumps are naturally thick and you want to have more separation for more volume, also go with the Bounce Curl Volume EdgeLift Brush.
If your natural curl clump width is wide and you want to maintain that look, go with the Bounce Curl Define EdgeLift Brush. If you have narrow curl clumps naturally and want to create thick clumps and are not concerned about reducing your volume, go with the Bounce Curl Define EdgeLift Brush. Keep in mind when you try and force naturally narrow curl clumps into larger curl clumps, they may not curl up. If you have curls that go in all different directions, this may also happen.
