This a gorgeous look that can be worn dramatic or subtle. Everyone will notice when wearing this look because it is so unique. I recreated this look and the products I used are:
–UDPP
–Stila Kajal Liner in Onyx as a base on the outer half and crease
–Coastal Scents 88 palette (light gold color in inner corner, darker shimmery gold color over lid and lower lashline, and matte black color on outer V)
–MAX Factor Vivid Impact Eyeshadow Duo in Brassy Berry (gold side) on the outer half of eye and outer side of the brow bone (above the black)
–Maybelline EyeStudio quad in Sapphire Siren (black shimmer color over the matte black)
–NYX Double Sided Eyeliner and Shadow Black/White
–Maybelline EyeStudio gel liner in Blackest Black
–Loreal Extra Volume Collegen Mascara
To do the liner:
Start with the gel liner and a SS209 brush. Line the upper lashline, making it slightly thicker as you reach the end. Do not go all the way to the bottom of your upper lashline. Extend the liner out, getting thinner towards the end.
Smudge the top of the line in the outer corner and blend with black shadow.
Using the same gel liner, line the bottom liner, making it thicker as you reach the end, but thinner as the wing extends out. Make the lower line extend slightly passed the top one.
Do not connect the lines and leave a small enough gap between, about the size for an eyeliner pencil tip to fit.
Blend the bottom line too, and add black shadow to smudge.
Using the black side of the NYX eyeliner, line the inner corner of the eyes. I used this because it is not too black and does not smudge. The inner line should be crisp.
Using the white side of the NYX eyeliner, make a subtle white line in between the two lines. This helps it look more defined.
For a more wearable look:
I toned it down my just using the shimmery gold from the Coastal Scents palette all over the lid and a medium matte brown the in the outer V.
I did the same technique for the liner, just not as thick.
This is a lot simpler than it looks. And with a little practice, can be easy.
You can even just wear the liner with no shadow and bright lips.
Or you can try using colored liner only on the top, bottom, or both.
Comment on what you think of this look. Have you tried it? Will you try it now? How do you wear it?
Update–
*I just started using the Jergens Natural Glow Face Moisturizer and I am going to be taking pictures to see the progress. It claims to show results after one week, so at the end of the week I will do a post on it and review. I hope it works :] Have any of you tried it?
XOXO,
Gena
