My Wash Day Framework for Balanced Curls

90% of my new clients have an imbalance of moisture + hold. It's the first thing we fix to unlock longer-lasting curls.

Most curly products are loaded with conditioning ingredients — creams, butters, oils, fatty alcohols — because their job is to soften the hair and add slip. But that same softness can reduce hold if you’re not balancing it.

Conditioning isn’t a bad thing — curls need it. But the magic happens when you find the right balance between softness and hold so your curls don’t collapse by day two.

You don't have to be an expert at reading ingredient labels– you just have to be equipped with the tools to identify the signs and symptoms of how your hair responds to products. That's what I teach.
