VIDEO: DevaCurl Deep Sea Repair & Melt Into Moisture Masks Review & GIVEAWAY!

DevaCurl’s new curly hair masks, the Deep Sea Repair Seaweed Strengthening Mask and the Melt Into Moisture Matcha Butter Conditioning Mask, were released just in time for summer. They’re designed to repair dry, damaged hair for moisturized defined curls.

DevaCurl invited me to NYC with tons of other gorgeous textured hair bloggers to test out the masks, share our thoughts, and celebrate natural hair. Check out this incredible video they put together for #CurlsUnmasked, where everyone shares their story transitioning their hair to its natural texture. DevaCurl was such a fun company to work for, and I was amazed at how they embrace natural hair and seem to care about providing quality products.

Now for my thoughts and results from the masks!

Above is my incredible results from using the DevaCurl Deep Sea Repair Mask. The mask contains restorative seaweed, strengthening blend of rice, soy, and wheat proteins. Primarily a protein treatment, this mask is great to use every couple weeks to strengthen curls. If you have heat damage, color treated, or are transitioning to your natural curls this mask is perfect for you. In my before and after results above, you can see where my curls were more defined, less frizzy, and shiny.

The DevaCurl Melt Into Moisture Matcha Butter Conditioning Mask contains moisturizing matcha green tea butter, almond oil, and protective beet root extract. It’s perfect when your hair needs a pick me and is looks dry and dull. It can be used for a quick 5 minute mask, or left on longer with a heat cap overnight.
