VIDEO: Quick Messy Bun Curly Hair Tutorial + DevaCurl Giveaway

Do you ever get stuck in a rut with wearing your hair the same way every day? Having naturally curly hair, it’s always easiest to just wear it down, but I need to branch out! I wanted to create an easy updo for naturally curly hair, that would be an effortless look for holiday parties, or every day wear.

This low, messy bun takes under 5 minutes to do, and can be worn with any hair texture.

How to get the look:

1. Start with dry hair. I refreshed my curls first and diffused using cold air
2. Separate a few face framing curls
3. Gather the front section of hair on each side, push forward and up, and secure with a bobby pin
4. Finger comb the rest of your hair back and over to one side of your hair
5. Using a hair tie, wrap the hair once, and then pull through halfway a second time to create a bun
6. Adjust the bun and pull to make it larger. Secure the bun with bobby pins.
