Drugstore Curly Hair Routine for Humidity using Hairitage + Dove

Is it humid where you live, or do you just love long-lasting hold? This routine is perfect for summer and uses all drugstore curly hair products. I’ll also be sharing tips for low-density and thin curls, and how to get strong hold without the crunch.

Styling Routine Steps

1. Start with clean, damp hair. Spritz water where needed.
2. Apply curl cream and brush through evenly. Run fingers through to break it up.
3. Apply gel throughly by raking and scrunching.
4. Define various curls with a brush where needed, and position the hair around the crown.
5. Scrunch with a hair towel.
6. Apply a light layer of gel.
7. Diffuse until 100% dry
8. Fluff roots. Avoid scrunching out too much of the gel cast.
9. Spritz hairspray over the canopy of the hair for added humidity protection
