Softer curls usually mean: less structure less longevity more refreshing More hold usually means: curls last longer less daily maintenance more stability and frizz control Neither is “right” or “wrong.” It depends on what you want. What I teach is about building routines that work with your real life. For many people, that means prioritizing hold so their hair doesn’t need constant attention. Less stress. Less daily fixing. More freedom. But everyone’s threshold is different. Some people prefer ultra-soft hair and don’t mind refreshing more often. Others want durability and low maintenance. The goal is clarity. Once you know your priority, your routine finally makes sense. Curl Coach Tries the Abbey Yung Method (What to Skip for Curly Hair)
