Great post. I also have very curly hair. I totally agree with allowing your hair to air dry, and also not washing with a shampoo everyday. I actually shampoo every third day, and find this maintains the hair looking healthier and avoids it from drying out. Curly hair requires all of the natural oils your scalp secretes, so shampooing everyday dries it out quickly. I also recommend lightly towel drying hair. Wrapping in a towel after a shower is a huge no no for curly hair because I find you want to let the moisture naturally evaporate from your hair while the curls are taking form. I use a lot of the same products you use…Garnier, Pantene, and Loreal.
