Makeup Revolution is a newer brand sold online and at Ulta stores that I had never tried before. I’ve heard great things about them, and they appear to offer a broad range of makeup shades. When I was browsing at Ulta, the Makeup Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick was the only foundation they had in their line of products.
I have never tried a foundation stick before, but I know they are typically a fuller coverage, creamy texture foundation type. Being someone with combination/oily skin, this type of foundation can be tough to use since they are better for dry and/or mature skin.
Watch the video above to see how I apply the Makeup Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation, and what I use to blend it out.
Since my skin tends to get oily throughout the day, I had to pair this with a primer, mattifying powder, and setting spray.
Overall, I was very pleased with the coverage of this foundation and the natural skin finish it had. It is not as long-wearing as I would prefer, but that is only because I have combo/oily skin. If you are someone with mature skin and/or dry skin, this foundation would be a great choice.
I also am testing out the Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Conceal & Contour, although I have not been particularly impressed with the coverage. If you would like to see a review on this, please let me know in the comments!
