NOTW: JulieG Bikini

Polishes like this one make me really wish I had a better camera. But I think no matter what camera you have, neons this bright never pick up true to color. This is JulieG’s polish in Bikini. If you don’t already know, beauty guru JulieG713 has a nail polish line available at Rite Aid. When I saw some of the neons, I had to squeeze in a few more before fall comes. I also picked up the purple neon, Fierce & Fab, which I will probably show next week. Bikini is a gorgeous neon (i mean NEON), pink-orange/salmon. You will just have to go check them out in the store to see the real color! This is definitely one of the brightest colors I own, and perfect for the toes too in the summer. The polish quality was so-so. It took 3 coats to get a totally streak-free application, but that is typical of neons. I want to try out more from her line! Have you tried any?

  3. I just got this the other day. It's so bright and pink, and I'm in love with it. I don't even care that it's Fall. I hate matte so at first I was so disappointed when it first dried..wasn't expecting the matte look. A shiny top coat makes a WORLD of difference. I swear without the top coat I would hate this polish so much.

Low Maintenance Curly Hair Routine | Best Curlsmith Products for Travel
Struggling with flat roots and a lack of volume? Diffuse is key! 1. After applying styling products (gel or mousse is critical for hold), scrunch hair with a hair towel. ⭐️BONUS TIP: For extra hold and to tame frizz, apply another light glaze of gel or mousse after microplopping. 2. Flip hair upside down and plop it over a counter or other flat surface. Hover your diffuser around. No flat surface? Gently cup your hair in sections. This will prevent elongation. Hover the whole time if you want elongation. 3. Flip right side up and cup the ends of your hair in the diffuser and press up towards the head. Angle the diffuser towards your hair versus straight up to prevent frizz. 4. Use the prongs to lift the roots up and hold. Having a diffuser with long enough prongs that extend out past the end of the bowl is key! ⚠️This is why I don't recommend the Dyson because the prongs are not long enough and it gets way too hot. 5. After hair is dry, fluff out the roots and scrunch out the cast with dry hands. ⚠️ You can finish air drying if needed but wait to fluff after it's fully dry! Settings I use are high heat and low fan speed. I alternate to medium heat on the ends sometimes. This diffuser does not get too hot even on high!
