How to Save Money Black Friday & Cyber Monday Shopping

It’s that time of year again! Literally every company on the planet is having sales for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and it can be so overwhelming! I thought I’d put together a few tips to help you save money while shopping in stores and online. I’m a huge fan of coupon codes and cash back sites. I never place an order without checking first. Here’s a few tips to make your life easier for holiday shopping.

  • Do your research beforehand. If you’re going shopping in stores, gather up all the coupons you have so you’re not scrambling in the checkout link. Have a game plan for which stores you want to go to, to avoid wandering around a jam-packed mall.
  • The best deals aren’t always on Black Friday. I’ve noticed this with tons of stores. They seem to run deeper discounts before and after the major sale days. Many stores also are extending their offers past Friday and Monday, so you don’t necessarily have to rush to beat the crowd.
  • Use cash back sites like eBates.eBates pays you for shopping online, what’s better than that! Click here to learn more about how the service works. It’s completely free, and is not a gimmick. I have gotten several big payments from them after shopping so I know it works! 
  • Use app’s like Shopkick while shopping. With Shopkick you earn points for walking into stores. Open the app before walking through the doors and like magic, your points come through. Once you have a certain amount of points you can redeem them for gift cards. I’ve gotten up to a $25 gift card at Target before! They also have in-store coupons you can use while shopping, and opportunities to earn points for scanning items.
  • Use coupon codes paired with the store’s hardmarked sales. RetailMeNot and GrouponCoupon always have the most accurate codes. Here’s a list I’ve gathered for you!

Low Maintenance Curly Hair Routine | Best Curlsmith Products for Travel
Struggling with flat roots and a lack of volume? Diffuse is key! 1. After applying styling products (gel or mousse is critical for hold), scrunch hair with a hair towel. ⭐️BONUS TIP: For extra hold and to tame frizz, apply another light glaze of gel or mousse after microplopping. 2. Flip hair upside down and plop it over a counter or other flat surface. Hover your diffuser around. No flat surface? Gently cup your hair in sections. This will prevent elongation. Hover the whole time if you want elongation. 3. Flip right side up and cup the ends of your hair in the diffuser and press up towards the head. Angle the diffuser towards your hair versus straight up to prevent frizz. 4. Use the prongs to lift the roots up and hold. Having a diffuser with long enough prongs that extend out past the end of the bowl is key! ⚠️This is why I don't recommend the Dyson because the prongs are not long enough and it gets way too hot. 5. After hair is dry, fluff out the roots and scrunch out the cast with dry hands. ⚠️ You can finish air drying if needed but wait to fluff after it's fully dry! Settings I use are high heat and low fan speed. I alternate to medium heat on the ends sometimes. This diffuser does not get too hot even on high!
