Holiday Gift Guide for Any Beauty Lover

Christmas is right around the corner, and if you’re struggling to find the perfect last-minute gift, I’m sharing some of my favorite products that and beauty lover would be thrilled to receive. From stocking stuffers to the ultimate gifts, these range from all price points for any budget.

My go-to beauty product for colder months is a good lip balm. Chapstick recently came out with their Total Hydration Moisture + Tint balms that are formulated with natural Argan Oil, Rosehip Oil, Omegas 3/6/9 and more. I love tinted balms because they can be worn to complete every look from dramatic to no-makeup, and provide hydration for cracked or peeling lips. The 3 shades range from Merlot, Coral Blush, and Rose Petal. The color payoff is perfect, and each are lightly scented according to their name.

The Chapstick Total Hydration Conditioning Lip Scrub is another favorite of mine for the cold winter weather. Flaky lips are never fun under lip products, so I love that this can gently remove dead skin while hydrating and prepping for color. The scrub is formulated natural ingredients such as sugar crystals, maracuja and coconut oil, shea butter and vitamin E. The peppermint flavor smells amazing and is refreshing.

A nice perfume always makes a great gift for anyone. This whimsical scent by Katy Perry called Mad Love is a unique combination of fruity, floral, and warm. It contains notes of Lady Apple Sorbet, Mara Strawberry, and Pink Grapefruit. Middle notes of Peony Petals, Sun-Kissed Jasmine, and Bleeding Heart flower give a subtle floral aroma. Small hints of Coconut Wood, Skin Musk, and Sandalwood provide a subtle twist.

Low Maintenance Curly Hair Routine | Best Curlsmith Products for Travel
Struggling with flat roots and a lack of volume? Diffuse is key! 1. After applying styling products (gel or mousse is critical for hold), scrunch hair with a hair towel. ⭐️BONUS TIP: For extra hold and to tame frizz, apply another light glaze of gel or mousse after microplopping. 2. Flip hair upside down and plop it over a counter or other flat surface. Hover your diffuser around. No flat surface? Gently cup your hair in sections. This will prevent elongation. Hover the whole time if you want elongation. 3. Flip right side up and cup the ends of your hair in the diffuser and press up towards the head. Angle the diffuser towards your hair versus straight up to prevent frizz. 4. Use the prongs to lift the roots up and hold. Having a diffuser with long enough prongs that extend out past the end of the bowl is key! ⚠️This is why I don't recommend the Dyson because the prongs are not long enough and it gets way too hot. 5. After hair is dry, fluff out the roots and scrunch out the cast with dry hands. ⚠️ You can finish air drying if needed but wait to fluff after it's fully dry! Settings I use are high heat and low fan speed. I alternate to medium heat on the ends sometimes. This diffuser does not get too hot even on high!
