VIDEO: VOLITION BEAUTY Detoxifying Silt Gelee Mask Review

I’ve always been a big fan of clay masks, because they are great for detoxifying the skin and clearing up acne. I recently have been testing a new brand available at Sephora, called Volition Beauty. Their products are high-quality, and are crafted by “innovators” who with particular skin concerns they want to address. The chemist who developed the Detoxifying Silt Gelee Mask wanted a detox mask that moisturized at the same time.

The VOLITION BEAUTY Detoxifying Silt Gelee Mask contains black silt, kaolin clay, jojoba oil, quinoa protein, and other natural ingredients. It’s formulated without parabens, and is safe to use on all skin types, even sensitive skin.

The mask also comes with 2 soft sponges, that can be washed and reused to remove the mask.

I was intrigued by the gel texture of this mask, and it instantly felt soothing on my skin. The clay hardened up when it dried, but my skin never felt tight or dry. After about 20 minutes, I removed the mask and was impressed with how soft my skin felt. I typically have to load up on moisturizer after using a clay mask, but this one left my skin look supple and hydrated.

I’ve been using it now about once a week for a month now, and I love the results. I can’t say it will completely clear up acne, but it has helped with my common clogged pores I always get. It’s a great mask for a weekly detox and refresh.
