When I heard about the “How I did my makeup in high school” video going around, I knew I had to try it! I always love looking back on how I did my makeup before I knew the “right” way to apply it. I tried to dig some ancient selfies up, however it’s hard to see my makeup in some.
I particularly remember wearing navy shadows and liner a lot, so that’s the look I recreated in the video. I also used tons of bronzer (even though I was already super tan), and I did NOT fill in my brows. I also used mineral foundation, which I actually think is a great option for teens because it doesn’t break out your skin but provides good coverage to even out your skin tone. I did my makeup with barely any brushes and minimal products.
When recreating my old makeup look, I noticed I used to do a lot of the things I mentioned in myCommon Makeup Mistakes video. Click here to check that out to see how I overcame some of my high school mishaps 😉
