How to Simplify Refreshing & Do LESS REFRESHING | Olaplex Gel

Maybelline’s newest edition to their Fit Me line is the Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation, designed for long wear and and a smooth finish. Like all Fit Me products, it comes in a zillion shades, something you don’t see often in the drugstore! After much deliberation I settles with shade #128 for my average “self tanned” color. I can also wear #220 when I have a dark tan, and #112 for my natural pale skin.
The foundation has an awesome texture, that’s very thin but also medium-full coverage. It’s great for layering since you can gradually build up coverage just where you need it. This is my favorite thing to do with foundations so I don’t apply too much all over. I got a flawless finish using my favorite foundation brush, the e.l.f. Selfie Ready Foundation Brush.
The Fit Me Powder gave a great finish to my skin and helped keep it matte. It’s soft and bendable, and also available in many shades. I also tried wearing it by itself, and it had slight coverage to it- just enough to even out my skin tone.
My results:
I wore this foundation for most of the day, and even in extremely hot humid weather outside. It held up excellent, and I didn’t see much fading at all. However today when I wore it I noticed my nose and chin getting very oily and saw a slight amount of wear around the creases in my nose. This was highly likely a result of the facial I did last night where I used a pore strip, which always causes me to become oily the next day.
Conclusion:
I definitely recommend trying this foundation and powder. I’ve worn it now for almost a week, and I’m surprised each day in its length of wear. My skin has a great texture and pores are not obvious. If you have oily skin, I recommend pairing this with a mattifying primer and setting spray.
