It’s that time of the year! My favorite part about the holidays are buying gifts for people. Ulta Beauty is always my go-to for gifts for my mom, sister, and friends in my life. They have gift guides online that make shopping super easy. The one that really caught my eye was the Glam Girl Gift Guide, which is full of new gift sets, palettes, and more. For this look I’m using and reviewing the Anastasia Self Made Palette, as well as the Tarte Energy Noir.
This tutorial will show you how to get this easy metallic pink and plum makeup look, which is ideal for holiday gatherings.

The Anastasia Self Made palette contains 14 ultra pigmented shadows ranging from metallic to matte. What originally caught my eye about this palette was the uniqueness of the shadows. I liked how it contained colors and basic neutrals. The shadows are also very buttery, and sometimes have some fall out if you don’t tap your brush before applying.
The Tarte Energy Noir is the perfect holiday palette, with gorgeous gold and purple packaging. The shadows are all purple themed, with neutrals mixed in. I was intrigued by this palette specifically for the blush and highlighter. The Amazonion Clay blushes are known for being long lasting and pigmented. I plan to do another look soon featuring only this palette!
So tell me in the comments- which is your favorite item from the Glam Girl Gift Guide?!
