How to Style Curls that Fall Flat, Don’t Last, or Are Overly Soft

With so many styling products out there, it can be difficult to determine which ones are best for your curls’ unique needs. It can also be difficult to determine which styling products pair well together. I’m sharing my favorite product combinations, specifically curl creams and gels.
My hair is medium/coarse-textured, has high porosity, and low density. I really struggle with frizz, tangles, and humidity. I prefer using a curl cream and a gel for best results. I look for products that provide moisture, lots of slip, strong hold, and help encourage curl definition.
